As of today, December 25th 2016, we claim the planet 'Methuselah'. Methuselah is believed by many astronomers to be the oldest planet in the universe at over 12 billion years old (about 12.7 billion years old to be exact). This claim will go into effect as of 12 PM December 25th 2016. Any claim on this extraterrestrial body after this by any other individual or authority is proclaimed invalid and in violation of USZ and international law. This planet may not be inhabited for the next 1000 years, but our claim shall still remain valid for eternity. Therefore we own the cellestial body 'Methuselah'. The approximate mass of the planet is 2.666x10^30 KG and the temperature is around 300,000 Kelvin.
The people of the United States of Zainland hereby recognize a need for independence through this declaration. Separating from the US also disassociates us from a country in which so many old-world problems still exist. On the subject of social and racial relations, many problems still exist. While many de jure laws have been created to help prevent this, the vast majority of people's mindsets have not been altered since the creation of these laws. Next, many hate groups exist in the US that are very violent against certain minorities. No laws currently exist in the US to prevent these groups from existing, even when they make the people fearful by committing acts of hate. On the issue of terrorism, the main problem is not that the US isn't securing their borders enough, in fact their borders are some of the most secure in the world, but the problem is that the demeaning of minorities makes them feel the need to fight back, and because of such these terrorist groups exist. Finally, on the issue of education, while the US has taken quite a bit of action to help improve education and help make it more available for people, supposedly public colleges still cost money which many people just don't have and this creates a cycle like this: The parent is born in a relatively middle-class family and gets a good education in school, but doesn't care about their studies and assume they'll be fine. When they eventually apply for college, very few colleges accept them and they get a poor education. They end up working for a factory and earn very little income. Their children on the other hand care about being educated and want a good education, but end up with a poor education because they're living in a lower-class area because their parents can't afford better. The cycle continues and many of these people can never reach a higher level of education, so remain in the lower-class forever. All of these things happen in the US. We believe that the fact that these things still happen is horrendous and therefore establish an independent state, the United States of Zainland, to establish laws to finally, for once and for all resolve these issues and create a better state of living and a better system overall.
A relatively new country, the USZ is a special country in many different ways. The country is not officially recognized as a nation by the UN or any similar authorities, but we still call it a country. Here's how the government works. There are only 2 in charge, the President and the Vice President. They work together coming up with laws, making decisions and such, although the President has more of a say in all of it, 2:1. If either of them come up with a law, they both decide whether or not to veto it. When deciding, the president's vote is worth 2 votes while the vice president's is only worth 1 vote. If it isn't vetoed, the law will be voted on by all the citizens. If it is passed it becomes law. If it isn't passed the President or Vice President can choose to have it voted on up to 2 times after the initial try. If it isn't passed at all, the law is vetoed and can not be brought up again except with considerable change to the law itself. In this way, the people have a larger say in the laws than in every other country and in this way is a country for the people. The country's flag is: Our constitution is The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
